Bio

I have been Professor of German Sociolinguistics at the University of Bern since 2022. Before that, I held an SNSF Eccellenza professorship in Bern and positions in Lancaster, Cambridge and Zurich, after a doctorate from Bern (2009) and a habilitation from Zurich (2017).
